Stephen York
(Registered Proofreader) welcomes enquiries from all
businesses, charities and foundations, local and
national government departments and bodies in the UK but
regrets that a proofreading service cannot be offered to
students and other private individuals.
FEES

website. No two projects are the same in size or
complexity and therefore proofreading fees are tailored individually to
each job and agreed with you in advance.

BACKGROUND
Stephen York is a UK based Registered Proofreader and
Advanced Member of the Society for Editors and
Proofreaders (SfEP) (www.sfep.org.uk)
and was a proofreading mentor of the Society for some
years. To qualify for registration references from three
UK
publishing clients and proof of number of hours of
experience in proofreading were submitted to the Society.
Stephen has 20 years’ full-time proofreading experience,
with some clients of several years’ standing.
Stephen York Editorial Services is also a member of the
Federation of Small Businesses (www.fsb.org.uk).
